The exhibition showcases the work of Professor Stanisław Wieczorek. The artist engages in various forms of graphics, both artistic and utilitarian – designing posters and books. His artistic activities also encompass painting, drawing, and stage design. Stanisław Wieczorek graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, specializing in Interior Architecture, and has been associated with the institution to this day. Since 1977, he has led the Studio of Forms and Surfaces in the Graphics Department, and since 1980, the Studio of Geometry and Composition. He directed the Interdepartmental Studio of Multimedia Artistic Creation. In his career, he served as the Vice-Dean and Dean of the Graphics Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Additionally, he is the creator and director of the Institute of Media Art. He collaborated with various artistic publishers, including "Sugestie" and the bimonthly "Projekt," the Italian magazine "Shop," and "Linea grafica." The artist has often taken part in socio-artistic initiatives, leading to the creation of numerous exhibitions through his involvement. He is also the initiator of the establishment of the Association of Polish Graphic Artists and Designers. Wieczorek has authored dozens of individual exhibitions and participated in hundreds of collective presentations both in Poland and abroad. In 2005 and 2014, he was awarded the "Meritorious for Culture – Gloria Artist" medal by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. The exhibition was realized with the support of the City of Lublin.
