Through the World Festival. Encounters with Travel
The 2nd Through the World Festival. Encounters with Travel will take place from April 15 to 18. This year's edition will be held online, and all lectures can be watched for free on Vimeo at ACKiM UMCS Chatka Żaka.
From Thursday to Sunday, Chatka Żaka will be taken over by travelers who will share their journeys, leading from Siberia through the Himalayas, Indochina, Ethiopia, the United States, to Australia and New Zealand. In addition to travel shows and stories, there will be presentations on travel photography and preparations for independent trips around the world.
The main guests of this edition of the Festival will be Aldona and Daniel from Groszek, the KamperManiak team, with a story about their journey to Lake Baikal, and Agnieszka Dziadek, the 2019 Colossus awardee, who will talk about completing one of the longest trails in North America, the Appalachian Trail.
